CANCELLED: 2020 Midwest Osteopathic Annual Convention (MOAC)

The 2020 Midwest Osteopathic Annual Convention will be held on April 30 through May 3, and promises to delight with robust Continuing Medical Education, as well as fun activities. The convention theme is "Life and Medicine" featuring two inspiring keynote speakers and 24+ AOA Category 1-A credits/AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™/AAFP prescribed credits. Keynote Speakers:


Saray Stancic, MD (5-01-20)

Dr. Stancic is a board certified physician and the founder of Stancic Health and Wellness, LLC in Ramsey NJ, an innovative medical practice whose mission is to educate and empower patients to achieve optimal health via lifestyle modification.She is also an advocate for change in healthcare and is an executive producer of the film Code Blue, a documentary that reveals insufficiencies in the current state of medicine and provides common sense solutions to prevent, treat and manage disease.


Her focus is shedding light on the building body of scientific evidence supporting the importance of optimal nutrition and lifestyle in disease prevention. The concept for this practice came in response to her experiences as a physician for over 20 years and as a patient with multiple sclerosis.

Dr. Tom Rifai, Founder of health coaching, consulting and education company Reality Meets Science, is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a Diplomat of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine and Speakers Bureau member for the American College Lifestyle Medicine. His dynamic lifestyle and Reality Meets Science based “5 Keys to optimal wellness, weight loss and disease prevention” is his primary therapy model, with carefully selects pharmaceutical medicines only if necessary. Dr. Rifai’s Reality Meets Science lifestyle model and brand is rooted in his uniquely eclectic combination of professional science based training as well as personal experiences and journey in battling binge eating disorder, depression and anxiety.


Dr. Rifai’s personal journey to becoming a lifestyle medicine physician was recently published by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
