AOA House of Delegates Application

If selected as a Missouri delegate, I am able to attend the entire AOA House of Delegates Meeting.

If selected as a Missouri delegate to the AOA, I understand that I must meet the following expectations:
• I must be a current MAOPS member (both the year of application and year of service).
• I must proficiently use email and respond to requests promptly.
• I must attend a MAOPS AOA Delegate orientation meeting via conference call prior to the AOA House of Delegates.
• I must attend all MAOPS Caucus meetings at the AOA House of Delegates.
• I must serve on an AOA reference committee or attend a reference committee meeting as delegated by the Missouri Caucus chair.
• I must attend all sessions of the AOA House of Delegates.
• I am willing to review the resolutions and reports prior to the AOA House of Delegates.
• I am willing to be informed on the issues to be debated as I have a responsibility for establishing policies for the entire profession.
• I must serve on a MAOPS Resolutions Review Reference Committee to review and make recommendations on MAOPS policies (This requires work at the AOA House of Delegates and potentially via conference call and email following the AOA House of Delegates).
• Submit a current photo to be used on the YAPP App.

I understand that:
• Delegates receive a stipend to assist in travel costs and miscellaneous expenses accrued Thursday through Sunday of the House of Delegates, and am expected to attend Thursday through Sunday events in order to receive the stipend. This stipend is not necessarily intended to cover all expenses you may incur at the meeting.
• Hotel costs (room and tax) at the group rate for a single room at the hotel chosen by MAOPS to hold the meeting are covered by MAOPS. Should I choose to stay at another facility, I am responsible for costs above and beyond those of the MAOPS facility.
