It is with great disappointment that we are announcing the cancellation of the 2020 Midwest Osteopathic Annual Convention (MOAC) scheduled for April 30 – May 3 at Margaritaville Lake Resort. As all are aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the cancellation of events around the country and world. With the recent declarations by the President of a “national emergency,” the Governor a “state of emergency,” and the CDC calling for the cancellation of all meetings with more than 50 attendees, MAOPS leadership felt that as a physician organization it is not only in the best interest of our members, but also the public for the convention to be cancelled.

All registrants will receive full refunds, so there is no need to contact us to request such. Refunds will be processed by April 15. We appreciate your patience during this process. If you would like to simply convert your registration fee to a tax-deductible donation to the Wetzel Foundation, please email Chris Bowles by March 20. Donations will help offset expenses associated with the cancellation, and would be much appreciated. Margaritaville has also cancelled all hotel rooms booked under the MOAC room block.
